How do i connect 4, 12V LED stripes to my amp without them blowing?

-i have 4 12V red led light stripes and i want to connect them so that they will flash with my bass but i dont want to blow my lights or mess anything elseHooking it up on the RCA side definatelt wouldn't blow the led's, but it wouldn't light em up at all either, not close to enough voltage... I guess it depends on what kind of amp you have and how much it's putting out. Depending on the output you may have to use some resistors, but positive to the amps positive and ground it to the car. Should be good
You CAN hook them up but you SHOULD NOT!



Will it work?

- At a low volume, yes



Will it blow?

- once you start jamin and crank it, and use more power from your amp *BOOM* no more leds



So how do i do this?

- there are flashing LED kits you can buy and hook up with alot less grief then you will have trying to just tether wires together here
i never tried this before but maybe if you splice them in on the rca wires before the amp they should flash with the bass cause thats where the bass signal is coming from
