-I have a Visonik A Series V1201A 1 channel Amplifier that I bought from a friend and when I hooked it up the protection light went on but the power light doesnt turn on and that all it does. The speaker doesn't work if I hook it up. Does any one know how to make it work or is it broken and how many rms or watts this amp produces.Well first off i would take a look at your wire setup forsure.
The protect light will stay on if its not correctly installed. unplugg your rcas and see if it powers on.
plus in protect mode the subs wont play anyway.
Make sure theres no bare wire touching the car chassis.
Make sure the ground is less that 36inchs long.
Make sure the power wire isnt touching anything and check your fuses.Sounds broken to me...unless you have the power and ground hooked up backwards.
