Whats a good gps system for a long trip?

-I'm driving to Texas from Ohio in a few months and need to buy a gps system. I'm also getting a route but gps would make things easier. Not to mention id like a gps anyway. If you know of a good gps system that's affordable (under 200) please let me know. Thankstry finding a jensen "touch and go" they are cheap, easy to use, and have very nice features. we use to sell this but gps sales didnt really work for us so we stopped selling it all together, but when we did sell gps the touch and go was a lot better than tom tom and garmin.

Garmin is good, reliable, easy to use and update. Tom Tom is too heat sensitive to take into TX for the summer (ive had two of these fail due to heat in OKLA and its only hotter in TX). You can easily find a great unit for under $200. Good luck.

Garmin and Tom Tom both make excellent GPS units that you can buy for under $200. Go to their web sights and look at the options then pick one or two that fit your needs. I found that Car Toys has very reasonable prices for decent units.
